Dr. Doug Krueger shares some of the lessons of Earth Day–and also gives us some easy, everyday habits we can cultivate that can make a difference.

April 14 – “Myths & Truths About Immigration”

April 10, 2024 by Fawn Smith

April 7 – “Poetry Sunday”

April 2, 2024 by Fawn Smith

Poetry Sunday was a UUFF tradition started by Minister Emeritus Rhett Baird during his tenure here. Three years ago, we decided it was high time to bring the beloved tradition back to life! Some people say it’s their favorite service. Our members, staff and friends will share their faves!

This Sunday, we will SHARE THE PLATE with Lifestyles, Inc. All loose collection plate cash and specially designated checks (make out to UUFF and write “share plate” in the memo line) will be donated to this wonderful non-profit community organization, which is focused on helping adults with disabilities live self-directed lives. To learn more, visit: https://www.lifestylesinc.org/

You can attend service in person at the fellowship building or view it remotely online via Facebook Live Stream. To attend via Facebook, click on: https://fb.me/e/5wUbRYwnt at exactly 11am Central Standard Time (CST), and then click on “Watch Live Video. You don’t need a Facebook account to access.

March 17 – “Transcendence”

March 13, 2024 by Fawn Smith

Transcendence is not turning our back on everything that was. It’s not giving up on every idea, right, ritual, or process. It’s not destroying the foundation on which we were structured. We don’t have to reinvent the wheel, as long as the wheel is still functional. It’s simply letting go of what is NOT working, and supporting the best of what IS. Led by guest speaker/guest musician, Summer Osborne!

March 3 – “Whatever Happened to Morality?”

February 27, 2024 by Fawn Smith

Everywhere we look, we see evidence of increasing selfishness and self-centeredness in our society. Healthy societies depend on cooperation and the moral codes that sustain it rather than those that promote competition and divisiveness. We look at what led us to this point and how we can get back to being more focused on the common good. UUFF Member, Dr. Marty Faitak, will be our speaker.

This Sunday, we SHARE THE PLATE with the NWA Center for Sexual Assault. To find out more, please visit: https://www.nwasexualassault.org/

February 18 – “Women Performers of the Civil Rights Movement”

February 13, 2024 by Fawn Smith

UUFF Member and Accompanist, Jori Costello, tells how women entertainers of the day used their celebrity status to communicate, educate and demonstrate for Civil Rights even at the risk of their own careers and safety. Using the power of music, theatre, film and television, they represented the collective voice of activists throughout our country’s Civil Rights Movement and well beyond.
