October 6 – “A Service of Belonging”

We all want to feel like we belong – in our family, in social groups, at work, and most importantly, in our own skin. We yearn to step free from any “closet” we may have been hiding in so that we might live as our authentic selves. September 29 – “UU Core Values: Generosity”

This Sunday, Rev. Renée will speak about one of the tenets of Unitarian Universalism – Generosity. After service, those present will head outside to kick off the 2025 Stewardship Pledge drive in style! Everyone is invited to enjoy food, games, entertainment, and each other at UUFF’s first annual Fall Festival! Please bring a lawn chair (or two) if you can. We’re gonna have fun!

September 22 – “Ozark Harvest Home”

Come thankful people, come and join us for an Autumn Equinox Harvest celebration! Let us gather in gratitude for this season of abundance. All are invited to bring a treat and stay for the potluck after the service (please stay even if you don’t have anything to share).

September 15 – “Ingathering of the Waters”

Gene Vinzant, Matt Rich, and Rev. Renée Janski will lead us in this beloved annual Water Communion tradition! Everyone is encouraged to bring some water to share in the ritual. Your water can be from somewhere interesting (a vacation to the beach, river, etc.) or just from the tap! This is also a Choir Sunday!

August 25 – “What’s Happening in Latin America?”

The last few years have seen a massive surge in immigration from Latin America. What is going on and why? Join us this Sunday as Dr. Sevin Gallo, Director of Global Studies at Northwest Arkansas Community College, shares what she learned this summer while leading a group of U.S. students in Mexico. We will learn more about the immigration crisis in that country, how it relates to the United States, and how we can support migrants.

August 11 – “A Romp Through Pluralism”

August 4 – “Existence is Resistance”

Living in times of political chaos can be hard. In this service, Rev. Dr. Stevie Gaines will draw from Unitarian Universalist identity, recent history, and contemporary events (including an interesting billboard) to offer encouragement for living fully, even in difficult circumstances.

July 28 – Mayor Lioneld Jordan – “Addressing Climate Change and the Housing Crisis in Fayetteville”

Fayetteville Mayor, Lioneld Jordan will be at UUFF this Sunday! Mayor Jordan is known for his “open door, open mind, open heart” philosophy, and he applies his core principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion through every action. He has held public office in Fayetteville for more than 20 years. He was elected to the City Council in 2000 and re-elected in 2004. In 2008, he ran for Mayor and won in a run-off election. He was then re-elected as Mayor in 2012, 2016 and 2020. We are pleased to have Mayor Jordan as our guest speaker this Sunday! Join us.

July 21 – “The Space Between the Notes”

“You may delay, but time will not,” said Benjamin Franklin. His wise words remind us that life is a priceless gift, and our time on this earth is limited. There are always some things in life over which we have no control. They will happen and they will demand our attention and our time whether we want or not. But what about the rest of the time, the “space in between?” UUFF Member, Rev. John Johnson, will lead us in an exploration of this important topic this Sunday. Join us!
