March 22 – “Endings Become Beginnings”

March 19, 2026 by Fawn Smith

Spring isn’t just a weather change. It is a reminder that every ending heralds a new beginning. But reaching that new beginning can be messy. Spring is “mud season,” after all. Giant Sequoyah trees only release their seeds when a forest fire melts the resin in the cones. Nature is an honest teacher. Join Rev. Renée and special guest choir, Raging Grannies NWA!

You can attend this service in person at the fellowship building or view it remotely online via Facebook Live Stream. To attend live via Facebook, wait until 11am Central Time (CDT) and go to: https://www.facebook.com/share/1BayvpEuXa/ and click on “Watch Live Video. March 15 – “Oh, the Good Old Days!”

March 12, 2026 by Fawn Smith

The belief that the past was somehow better than the present is, for the most part, a myth that is often repeated from one generation to the next. People tend to remember the good things and forget about the bad, especially when the hardships were suffered by others. This Sunday, Rev. John Johnson will talk about how our memories are shaped and how they influence our views of the present and our hopes for the future.

March 8 – “Religion and the Founding Fathers”

March 4, 2026 by Fawn Smith

As the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, this is a good time to look at what our founders thought about religion and the separation of church and state. What were their religious beliefs? Did they see the U.S. as a Christian nation? Join us Sunday as Dr. Gene Vinzant explores the history of “Religion and the Founding Fathers.”

You can attend this service in person at the fellowship building or view it remotely online via Facebook Live Stream. To attend live via Facebook, wait until 11am Central Time (CT) and go to: https://www.facebook.com/share/19A84UUQtm/ and click on “Watch Live Video. February 26, 2026 by Fawn Smith

Solomon Burchfield, the Executive Director at New Beginnings NWA, will use poetry, pictures, and quotes to share the work of building neighborhoods that end chronic homelessness by providing people places to stay, heal, and live. He will invite us to build collective power with partners across NWA to address homelessness and related injustices throughout our Northwest Arkansas.

You can attend this service in person at the fellowship building or view it remotely online via Facebook Live Stream. To attend live via Facebook, wait until 11am Central Standard Time (CST) and go to: https://www.facebook.com/share/17fbh8tE7d/ and click on “Watch Live Video. February 22 – “Optimism: Worth It?”

February 18, 2026 by Fawn Smith

These days, many people hesitate to envision positive change. Why get your hopes up? Dr. Doug Krueger will explain how this stance misunderstands both the nature and power of optimism….and the Choir will sing!
