The belief that the past was somehow better than the present is, for the most part, a myth that is often repeated from one generation to the next. People tend to remember the good things and forget about the bad, especially when the hardships were suffered by others. This Sunday, Rev. As the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, this is a good time to look at what our founders thought about religion and the separation of church and state. What were their religious beliefs? Solomon Burchfield, the Executive Director at New Beginnings NWA, will use poetry, pictures, and quotes to share the work of building neighborhoods that end chronic homelessness by providing people places to stay, heal, and live. He will invite us to build collective power with partners across NWA to address homelessness and related injustices throughout our Northwest Arkansas.
