David, a professor emeritus of the U of A, where he taught Russian History, addresses three questions: (1) What is the Unitarian Universalist Association’s stance on war? (2) What are the causes for the Russian “Special Military Operation?” (3) How might we respond? At the end of the service, we re-dedicate the Peace Pole that has stood in silent vigil for many years on our grounds, serving as an internationally-recognized symbol of a continued hope for peace on earth.
