Date: 06/29/2025
Time: 10:00 am - 10:45 am
Location: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fayetteville
This is the last 10am RE offering of the Summer. Classes will be on break all of July and August and will start back after Labor Day.
An informal discussion time for adults will be held downstairs at 10am on Sundays for anyone interested, but please note that there will not be childcare available during that time.
Topic this Sunday: “Our Welcoming Community.” Ben Hilliard leads our conversation this week. Unitarian Universalism was built out of a necessity for freedom within religious and spiritual contexts, as well as to create a sense of community and belonging. We at the UUFF pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive community, especially to those marginalized for their sexuality and/or gender identity. How much do you know about the history of queer-identifying people in UU-ism, and exactly much of the history of LGBTQIA+ rights in America was influenced by the actions and policies of the UUA?
