Topic this Sunday: “The Curious Case of the UU Soul.” The soul is a messy thing for Unitarian Universalists. We are influenced by whatever childhood definitions or images of soul we have had imposed upon us or picked up by osmosis. Science does not support the existence of a non-material soul that exists after death but the soul is often referenced in by the names of our congregations, our hymns, and when we talk about our hearts.
