This message, to be delivered by our own John R. Johnson, is inspired by Jean Francois Millet’s painting entitled, “The Man With The Hoe,” which depicts a farmer who is obviously wearied by his work in the field. Though we do not all labor in the fields, all of us do at times grow weary. Our Sunday morning fellowship is an opportunity for us to offer each other a safe place in which to “knit up the raveled sleeve of care.”
You can attend service in person at the fellowship building or view it remotely online via Facebook Live Stream. This Sunday, we’ll Share the Plate with Peace at Home Shelter. Loose collection plate cash and specially designated checks (make out to UUFF and write Peace at Home in the memo line) will be gathered and made into a single check from UUFF that will be mailed to Peace at Home.
