All are invited to attend a special viewing (in the UUFF Sanctuary, on the “big screen”) of the Ware Lecture from the recent UUA General Assembly. The lecture featured Imara Jones (pictured), the Emmy and Peabody Award winning creator of TransLash Media. Imara’s bio describes TransLash as a cross-platform, non-profit journalism and narrative organization that produces content to shift the current culture of hostility towards transgender people in the U.S.
