New UU Class Series – Class #1 – Sunday, December 6, 6:30-8pm (online)

December 6, 2020 by Fawn Smith

Date: 12/06/2020
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: ONLINE via zoom

The New UU Class Series begins THIS Sunday, December 6th, from 6:30-8pm via zoom! ALL are encouraged to attend. These classes are especially for folks new to Unitarian Universalism or UUFF, but they are open to anyone, and everyone can benefit from attending!
This first class is an exploration of personal journeys to liberal religion, and seeing how our personal beliefs line up with UU’s stated Sources.
Please review the UU Principles and Sources and write, or outline, your religious journey to UU, or wherever you are. Please practice sharing it so it will only be about 5-6 minutes (maybe a little more) with what religious groups/beliefs you grew up with, major changes in belief in life, realization that UU existed and what you believe now… a credo statement for now.
We’ll end with a survey of our UU Sources and where we fall within.
Peace,
Rev. Jim
You can find the link/info to join the zoom meeting in your latest UUFF weekly email (access at uufayetteville.org in the “This Week” section).
