In her book, Set In Stone: America’s Embrace of the Ten Commandments, Professor of History and Judaic Studies, Jenna Weissman Joselit, PhD reflects on how the Ten Commandments have been woven into America’s history, culture, and politics. According to the book jacket, “While archaeologists, theologians, and devotees across the world still wonder what became of the tablets that Moses received on Mount Sinai, Set in Stone offers a surprising answer: they landed in the United States.” We hope you’ll join us for a discussion of this phenomenon.
