Adults are welcome to join us at 10am each Sunday for a time of facilitated “Mindful Discussion.” There is a new topic each week, and it will be advertised in the weekly eNews the week beforehand. Topic this Sunday: “What Does Christmas Mean for Unitarian Universalists?” How does a non-creedal faith like Unitarian Universalism that encourages individuals to examine and embrace their own beliefs make sense of a holiday like Christmas given how embedded it is in our broader culture? For many UUs, Christmas is centered on universal values like peace, generosity, love, and hope, rather than strict dogma. We hope you’ll join the discussion this week as we explore what Christmas means to each of us.
