This Sunday, 06/12/2022: “Pride Month: How to be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.” What does it mean to be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community? As we celebrate Pride Month, let’s take a look at the important role that allies can play in helping to advocate for fair and equitable treatment of our LGBTQ+ friends and loved ones. We hope you’ll join us as we discuss this important and timely topic.
The ARE discussion is held weekly before Sunday service. It is a facilitated conversation where lively conversation and sharing of personal experience is encouraged. Each week the topic changes and is advertised in our weekly email to congregants.
There is no need to sign up, just join the us at UUFF in the common room downstairs 10am each Sunday morning. Sadly, we are unable to offer a zoom option for participating at this time. Masks are optional and vaccinations are encouraged.
