Topic this Sunday: “The Scale of Doubt.” In his sermon last week, Rev. Jim introduced us to the Scale of Doubt quiz developed by Jennifer Michael Hecht in her book, Doubt: A History. We’ll take the full quiz with all 13 questions and discuss. Our focus will be not on Hecht’s rankings but on our own experience of faith and doubt. Join us.
The ARE discussion is held weekly before Sunday service. It is a facilitated conversation where lively conversation and sharing of personal experience is encouraged. Each week the topic changes and is advertised in our weekly email to congregants.
There is no need to sign up, just drop in from 10:00 – 10:45 am in the main building downstairs. Nursery care is available in the main during this time as well.
