“Life is a lot like Jazz….it’s best when you improvise.” ~ Gershwin. Join Rev. Renée this Sunday for an exploration on how Jazz imitates life.

This Sunday we will Share the Plate with the Arkansas Citizens First Congress. CFC is a multi-issue, non-partisan coalition of organizations working together to ensure that the public is being heard and served by our state legislature. 50% of loose collection plate cash and specially-designated checks/cash (please make checks out to UUFF and write “Share Plate” on memo line) will be given to this worthy organization. Check out https://www.citizensfirst.org/ for more information.

UU prides itself in being a liberal religion, but like liberal democracy, there are flaws that keep it from reaching its full potential and leave it open to failures. Can an old but “new” way to generate change in governance save not only UU but the U.S.? This Sunday Rev. Jim Parrish will guide us in an exploration of Generative Democracy.

What brought each of us through the doors of UUFF, and what transforms us from visitors into committed members of this community? Together we co-create a powerful vision of universal love, radical welcome, and generosity that sustains us all.

This Sunday is extra special! We’ll be officially kicking off the 2027 Stewardship Pledge Drive AND celebrating UUFF’s 75th Anniversary with a Fall Festival immediately after service. All are encouraged to come down to the UUFF lawn for good food, fun, and fellowship! Please refer to the Weekly eNews for more information.
