September 27 – “Fat Liberation in a Time of Body Fascism”

What happens when we treat thinness as a moral obligation? From the Eurocentric roots of the BMI to modern economic discrimination, join Rev. Renée as we dismantle the myths of “earned worth” and celebrate the divine dignity of ALL bodies.

This Sunday we will Share the Plate with Cooperative Emergency Outreach (CEO). CEO is a non-profit community organization that provides emergency assistance for food, rent, and utilities. 50% of loose collection plate cash and specially-designated cash/checks (please make checks out to UUFF and write “Share Plate” on the memo line) will be given to this worthy organization.

  • UUFF Chalice Kids & yUUth "Second Hour" RE - Sundays from 12:15-1pm in the Sanctuary

  • All school-aged kids (ages 5-18) are invited to Religious Exploration “Second Hour” – held in the UUFF Sanctuary each Sunday from 12:15-1pm. Grab a coffee hour snack and join RE leaders and Rev. Renée to catch up on your week and participate in a fun and interesting UU-themed discussion and/or activity!

    Parents are invited to participate or just hang out in the lobby, connect with other parents, etc. All participants must be registered. Parents/Guardians can fill out the registration form on the first Sunday that their child/youth participates or CLICK HERE to download and print the form to fill it out ahead of time.
