Adults are welcome to join us at 10am each Sunday for a time of facilitated “Mindful Discussion.” There is a new topic each week, and it will be advertised in the weekly eNews the week beforehand. Topic this Sunday: “When Radical Thought Becomes Extreme.” Join us to get a better understanding of radicalization and when it turns into extremism. We will cover what the differences are between the two and get a better understanding as why this happens in society. There is no single path or type of person susceptible to radicalization or extremism. Certain elements can increase an individual’s susceptibility to extremist ideologies. We will explore these many factors and have a conversation on what we can do as individuals to help others from succumbing to violence.
