Date: 06/22/2025
Time: 10:00 am - 10:45 am
Location: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fayetteville
All are invited to gather downstairs in the common area of the fellowship building on Sundays at 10am for a facilitated discussion focused on a specific topic (advertised in the eNews the week before).
Topic this Sunday: “Food for the Soul.” Ashley Eldredge leads our gathering this week. What compels us, as humans, to craft and share recipes and meals? In our next class we plan to talk about our relationship with food, and how it goes beyond our body’s needs. For many, food holds deep sentimental value. It can transport us to another place and time, it can tell stories, and it can bring back a lost loved one to the table. Our relationship with food isn’t always simple, and these challenges often shape the recipes and meals we return to throughout our lives. Recipes are meant to be shared! If you have one, you’d like to contribute, please bring it to class, and we’ll scan it so others can access it. Join us.
