Time: 10:00 am - 10:45 am

All are invited to gather downstairs in the common area of the fellowship building on Sundays at 10am for a facilitated discussion focused on a specific topic (advertised in the eNews the week before).
Topic this Sunday: “Emotional Intelligence: What is it and why does it matter?”
According to the website for Mental Health America, “Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the ability to manage both your own emotions and understand the emotions of people around you. There are five key elements to EI: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.” This week we’ll take a brief look at a recent article titled, “19 Things Emotionally Intelligent People Do” and discuss how these skills can make a positive difference in helping people have their emotions work for them. We hope you’ll join us.
